Join us for a meaningful weekend of spiritual development, self-reflection, and connection with nature through immersive activities, all within the Roots Community.
Guidelines:
Registration and Payment:
Registration is required to secure a spot.
Tuition of $175 must be paid in full by the registration deadline.
Transportation:
Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from Camp Grady Spruce.
Carpooling is encouraged to reduce costs and promote community bonding.
Arrival and Departure:
Check-in: August 8th at 5 PM
Check-out: August 10th at 12 PM
What to Pack:
Modest, weather-appropriate clothing (layers recommended for December weather).
Comfortable shoes for hikes and activities.
Personal toiletries and bedding (sheets or sleeping bag. The camp will be providing bunk beds).
Behavior and Islamic Mannerisms:
Attendees are expected to uphold Islamic values and manners throughout the camp.
Show respect to instructors, staff, and fellow participants.
Conversations, conduct, and attire should align with the principles of dignity and respect for others.
Safety Measures:
Activities such as archery and zip-lining will have trained instructors and safety protocols.
A first-aid station will be available, and staff will assist with medical needs if necessary.
In case of emergencies, instructors will provide guidance and coordinate with camp staff.
For personal safety, participants should remain with the group during hikes and activities.
Activities and Participation:
Participation in daily halaqas and group activities is encouraged.
Activities include hikes, archery, zip-lining, and bonfires.
Alternate activities will be available in case of inclement weather.

A: For the full experience and community bonding, participants are encouraged to attend the entire program. Partial attendance is not recommended.Q: Will there be accommodations for prayer?

A: This camp is designed for college students, we run camps for children and high schoolers throughout the year, please consult our website for further info.Q: What if it rains during outdoor activities?
A: Alternate indoor activities will be planned in case of inclement weather.Q: What is the refund policy?
A: Refunds may be requested up to two weeks before the camp. After that, tuition is non-refundable.
