Roots is looking for a Community Operations Associate to support the Community Operations Manager and help run the day-to-day of the community. The Associate reports to the Operations Manager and works under their direction. Where the Operations Manager owns the operational flow and coordinates across every team, the Associate is the steady pair of hands that keeps that flow moving day to day: executing the work, chasing the loose ends, and making sure the details land.
This is a junior role, and a growth role. You'll learn the whole operation from the inside, starting with the day-to-day and taking on more as you go. Over time, as the operations function grows, this role is built to grow with it, toward greater ownership and, ultimately, the Operations Manager seat itself, so that operations can split cleanly between long-term strategy and forecasting on one side and day-to-day execution on the other.
